Literature Text

You left me here,
Alone with them,
To sit and stare.
I'm done.

My vision is blurred,
They've drugged me for sure.
Let the brainwashing begin.

Another day, Another mind.
Another life left behind.
I won't give up this time.
My sanity is on the line.

How much did they pay you?
How much am I worth?
Another betrayal,
I thought with  a smirk.

The blood pours out of my veins.
I no longer hold the reigns,
Over my life.
It's not over.

The torturous sound,
Of howling hounds.
I'm bound to die.

Is this what you wanted?
I smiled this time,
And started to whine.
My mind is no longer mine.

Are you happy now?

This was very fun to write.

This is dark and powerful but such a great poem.
