Yeah, I'm a freak

Yeah, I'm a bit of a freak.
  I stand in my basement for hours, painting the colors of life across the walls, hoping someone will find it there someday. Maybe I'll find the land of dreams just like everyone else. Or I'll realize just how unpromising and bleak this world really is.
  I don't care what you have to say. It might be far-fetched, but maybe i'm not crazy. Maybe everyone else is just oblivious to the truth. Or maybe I really am a lunatic who mumbles to myself and sees faces in my soup. I'm not afraid.
  The funny thing is, I really mst be insane, I know it. Maybe I am a freak. And I think that's okay.
